Coffee & Box Scores is the home for a unique brand of baseball content creation, a place to compellingly explore what’s taking place during the entire year.  Our singular perspective – like video highlight packages or written game recaps – takes its cue from the everyday, but broadens the scope to tie the present with the past.  

Throughout the 2024 MLB postseason, new content was published daily in the form of a Game Notes article that highlighted the previous day’s events and captured what made them interesting, connective and worthy of more than a 12-second highlight showing up in a tweet or Instagram post.  This daily column was also cut up and condensed for quick hits on social platforms to reach a broader audience and entice that group to visit the Coffee & Box Scores website.

Besides the daily notes, the site produced in-depth essays – Connections and Recollections.  Like the Game Notes, they connected to the ongoing storyline of the 2024 postseason, but were more focused and deeper in their explorations.  These essays have continued throughout the offseason, pursuing topics that sometimes relate to current baseball news and sometimes just explore a topic in need of a refreshing take, the words and ideas often enhanced by original artwork.

Having introduced our vision, we aim to continue providing insightful and thought-provoking content for baseball fans throughout the winter as we prepare for a more robust rollout for the entirety of the 2025 MLB season.
